    Strategy Graduate Programme

    On this programme, you’ll be a trusted partner to our global clients, helping them to address their most significant business issues. Supporting as part of a project team, you’ll drive innovation and help clients shape new business models, define the case for change and execute business transformation agendas.

    Working closely with professionals in other Accenture businesses, you’ll utilise our business insight and understanding of how technology impacts industries to help clients stay ahead in the digital world. So you could be structuring and performing analysis and primary research, developing business cases and plans, or developing your skills to help clients understand leading-edge technology capabilities.

    It’s an excellent opportunity to stretch your strategic mind and test yourself at the sharp end of business. You’ll also develop core leadership, problem-solving and people management skills, along with valuable cross-industry and functional expertise. Strategy careers at Accenture cover three practices:

    • Business Strategy is about helping clients develop new products and services in innovative ways, or prepare for the digital markets of the future. 
    • Technology Strategy focuses on creating technology strategies that are synchronised with clients’ business, people and operations, and building the IT and operational capabilities needed to execute these strategies. 
    • Operations/Function Strategy helps clients enhance their agility with simplified and digitally enabled internal functions powered by skilled talent

    What we’re looking for

    Places on our Strategy Programme are limited. You’ll need to be a critical, creative and deep strategic thinker and be able to demonstrate project evidence of this on your CV. It’s also important that you are a natural leader, effective relationship builder and collaborative teammate who’s digitally savvy and up for a challenge.  With exceptional communication skills, you should feel comfortable leading workshops and have strong presentation skills. You will also need to be intellectually curious, eager to learn and have a desire to help companies turn disruption into opportunity through strategies that enable them to successfully execute with equal strength across growth, profitability sustainability and trust.

    You will be commercially aware and have a keen interest in in understanding what factors influence business success. Quantitative and analytical skills and a real passion for business and technology are essential. Ideally, you will have taken classes in statistics or data analytics and will know how to work data visualisation tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx) or programming languages (R, Python, Julia, SQL).

    We’re also looking for you to demonstrate a passion for technology in either your studies, work experience or extracurricular activities.

    This programme is open to those with a degree (in any discipline – achieved or predicted).

    Where you’ll work 

    You will need to live within commutable distance of your home office which will be London. Due to the nature of our work, you may be delivering projects on client sites anywhere in the UK and sometimes outside of the UK. You will need to be prepared to travel and sometimes live away from home for long periods of time.
