We’ve been chatting to Mariola about her new Technology Consulting graduate role with Deloitte. Mariola shares her experience of the application process and advice on ‘power poses’ below!
Why did you choose this firm and this role?
I chose technology consulting because there are so many opportunities to learn in a fast paced industry. Deloitte was the perfect place to do this, together with a culture that encourages learning and expanding your horizons.
What was the toughest part of the application process and your favourite part?
The toughest part of the application process was preparing for the interviews – whereas the experience of participating in a group exercise was really fun.
Were you surprised by anything in the process?
One of the psychometric tests that I had to do involved downloading an app and playing several games – that was definitely a surprise!
What would be your number one piece of advice for your fellow Bright Network members?
Make sure you do as many mock interviews as possible.
What's your lucky charm or pre-interview ritual?
Power poses - they work!
