Matthew is a MA Hons International Business Management graduate from Heriot-Watt University. He secured a Audit Graduate position at Deloitte through Bright Network. 
First, we’d love for you to tell us a little bit about yourself.
“I would say I’m very driven and determined. From a young age I’ve been ultra-competitive and never give up!
Uni was the only option for me and I’ve also wanted to go into financial services for the love of money, earning it, making it and discussing it.”
What motivated you to apply for your role?
“Deloitte is the biggest of the Big 4 and are a proven graduate recruiter who test their graduates and ensure they become the best. Auditing is a flexible role that allows for my different career paths later in life and this appealed to me massively.”
What was the application process like?
“The application process was six stages and was very similar to other companies.”

“Prepare, start early and do not be disheartened by rejections. It’s part of the process, learn from it and keep trying.”

“I cannot wait to meet new people who are at the pinnacle of their industry. I want to learn and develop from the best and become the best. I’m most excited about testing and pushing myself.”
