Lydia is a Communications, Media and Marketing graduate from the University of Liverpool. She secured a graduate role as a Paralegal at Clyde & Co through Bright Network.

“I really enjoy working as a paralegal because it’s very rewarding and as a people person, I thoroughly enjoy talking to a range of people and helping them through hard times.”
What motivated you to apply for your role?
“The paralegal academy seemed like a great pathway to a career in law for someone like myself who doesn’t have a degree in law.”
What was your application journey like?
“I prepared by doing lots of research on the firm as well as looking into what attributes and skills make a good paralegal.”
What are you most proud of about your journey?
“Getting a job at such a good law firm without a law degree!”
What are your tips for people looking to follow in your footsteps?
“Don’t be afraid to message people on LinkedIn and ask them questions.”
