Kavisha is a Computer Science with AI graduate from Nottingham Trent University. She secured a Graduate Business Consultant role at CGI, through Bright Network.
First, please tell us a little bit about yourself.
“I took a year out during Covid and decided to work full time as I wasn’t sure what I wanted to study at university.
During that time, I completed a SheCodes workshop and loved creating my own website, which is why I decided to study Computer Science at university.”
What was the application process like?
“The application process consisted of a group interview on teams which included group activities and then an hour-long interview with CGI team members.”
What are you most proud of about your journey?
“I’m proud to have been offered a graduate job whilst completing my dissertation. The whole process was quite stressful whilst juggling university and applying to jobs at the same time.”
What are your tips for people looking to follow in your footsteps?
“My advice would be to prepare with as many questions and answers as you can and to be confident in what you know and how you can help the company with your skills.”
What have you learnt from going through the process?
“I learnt that some interview processes can be fun and that you can really learn about yourself throughout them.”

“I’m really looking forward to learning more about the tech industry and exploring the project management pathway.”
