“I’m excited by new advancements in chemical research and this role is a great opportunity to stay up to date on cutting edge chemistry, helping drive innovation in a different way than in the lab myself.”
What motivated you to apply for your role?

What was your application journey like?
“I was very nervous for the written exam, as I didn’t know what to expect. But the partners that greeted me were so friendly and welcoming that it put me at ease.
I had a scan through my revision notes to prepare and spent some time reading up on possible interview questions.”

“Tailor your cover letter for each company you apply for.
For patent law look on the Legal 500 website to find out about the company’s clients. You can then bring this up in the interview and mention your interest in them.”
