The successful candidate will have a logical and solution-oriented mindset. Working closely with the Business Engagement Lead and UKI Head of IT they will partner local business teams to identify, scope and land innovative solutions that drive growth. This will involve working with global IT technology teams, Enterprise Architecture, and/or external partners to achieve the best possible outcome for the business.
Responsibilities
Supporting strategic IT programmes for the UKI market
- Work as part of the In-Market IT team to build long-term relationships with key stakeholders across the UKI geography.
- Proactively seek to understand the business strategy, and how technology can help.
- Partner global platform teams to champion and introduce technology innovation in priority growth areas such as iOps, Away from Home and eCommerce – among others (may change according to demand).
- Work with Enterprise Architecture to understand global processes and tech portfolios to assess fit against UK business requirements.
- Collaborate with global IT platform teams and third parties to deliver world class, secure and inspiring solutions.
- Project manage key strategic programmes from start to finish including – but not limited to – business requirements gathering, technology research, project tracking, status reporting, risk and issue management, testing, stakeholder management and communications.
- Initiate and manage security reviews for any new third-party technology vendors.

Location
In September 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London to house the employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars, Lever House in Kingston, Unilever House in Leatherhead and Graze in Richmond. We are creating our own Unilever sustainable, agile work environment, purposefully bringing us together in our own Unilever ecosystem. The campus is due to be completed in early 2025 and will consist of two interconnected buildings, as well as landscaped surrounding areas.
