UKCEH are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our team. The role will work within the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. The role will support the management of the organisation’s fixed asset processes and assist in ensuring accurate financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Your main responsibilities will include
- Calculate and post accruals and other month-end journals.
- Assist in the production of monthly reports and management information (MI).
- Support the FP&A team in variance analysis and identifying discrepancies.
- Assist with the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Support fixed asset processes, including acquisitions, disposals, depreciation reviews, and reconciliations.
- Serve as a contact for all fixed asset queries from stakeholders.
- Assignments supporting other finance teams
For the right candidate, we can provide a training package to help achieve CIMA or ACCA qualifications.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or AAT Level 4 Qualified
- A strong interest career in finance and working towards a CIMA or ACCA qualification.
- Finance Experience
- Proven numerical and analytical skills with the ability to manage complex data
- The ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
