The Junior Application Developer is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day availability of business critical systems and for their on-going development including:

  • Develop and Support Applications: Responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of business applications in line with business requirements.
  • Technical Expertise: Requires programming skills (.net framework, C#/VB.net), SQL Server database modelling, and development.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyse and interpret organisational and procedural problems to modify or alter existing business systems.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain documentation/manuals for deployment and operation/maintenance of applications and business systems.
  • Technical Liaison: Act as a technical liaison with third-party technical staff on joint development projects.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to defined standards, quality plans, and quality management systems
