How you'll make an impact
- Legal Research
- Drafting, issuing, and negotiating standard legal documentation e.g., Non-Disclosure Agreements
- Supporting the legal team comprising lawyers and contract managers
- Proof-reading and cross-checking documentations
- Contract implementation queries
- Assisting in training business colleagues on legal and contractual principles
- Other ad hoc tasks as required
What you bring
- Have completed a Law degree or have successfully completed the Graduate Diploma in Law
- Have good digital literacy including familiarity with Microsoft office applications
- Have good spoken and written English
- Are analytical with a keen eye for detail
- Feel comfortable communicating with colleagues (engineers, finance, sales, senior management) within the business, across the country and the globe.
- Have legal curiosity, innovation, initiative, and strong collaboration skills

The in-house legal team are the trusted advisors of our business partners in Siemens Energy for UK, Ireland & Netherlands. We are committed to providing the highest ethical and quality standards for the legal advice provided by the legal team and we are looking to recruit a full-time legal intern to join us.

Additional Information
Although the role will require attendance at an office (Newcastle/South Manchester/Warwick/Lincoln) as the need arises, we are currently operating a hybrid way of working, with some working from home acceptable. The role will be a 12-month fixed term contract.
