Our Commercial & Industrial division designs, fabricates and constructs structural steelwork for a variety of different sectors including commercial offices, stadia & leisure, industrial & distribution, data centres, retail and health and education.
The division has manufacturing sites in three locations: Dalton, Lostock, and Enniskillen. Each has full-service capabilities and modern manufacturing processes enabling us to provide a high-quality product to a variety of different sectors. Each of our sites has its own strong reputation in the market and between them cover a wider geographical area, including Europe. They continue to set the bar high in their highly complex market!
Vacancy details
In the Design Graduate position you will be given the opportunity to develop your abilities and confidence in our Design department, working on iconic projects.
You will also be able to spend time in various departments, including Pre-Construction, Commercial, Project Management, and a period on site. This will allow you the valuable experiences to contribute towards your professional career.
The scheme will last 4 years, and successful completion should provide you with a well-rounded foundation for achieving chartered status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE).
We are looking for someone with a relevant Civil or Structural Engineering BEng with a minimum of a 2:1 & ideally you will be studying a master’s in Civil Engineering.
We are looking for great communicators with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Resilience, innovation & determination are among the key characteristics of a great Design Engineer.
