From day one, we’ll support you in developing the technical, digital, and professional skills needed to excel as a risk professional. You’ll work alongside diverse stakeholders, gaining exposure to operational, credit, and market risk while learning from industry experts.
What you will do
From day one, you'll be immersed in meaningful work. As you rotate through five Risk and Middle office teams you will gain insight into operational, credit, and market risk, your tasks will include:
- Completing a defined set of reporting or controlling tasks relevant to the rotation with a handover before moving team
- Delivery of a defined project within each rotation, with handover at the end of the project
- Production of quantitative risk reports for circulation to stakeholder, including Front Office, or use in Risk Management controlling
- Production of required documentation including detailing policies, methodologies, procedures or incidents
- Clear presentation of relevant topics, wither via written material or verbal explanations, to Risk and other stakeholders
- Build a strong network of contacts across the Risk Department and other internal stakeholders to support future career development
- Actively manage personal and professional development throughout the graduate scheme, focusing on technical skills, industry knowledge, and professional competencies.
What you will bring
We’re looking for an ambitious individual who’s on the lookout for an organisation where you can thrive and grow. To be considered, you should have:
- A degree or predicted degree in a STEM subject(2:1), together with
- Three A levels (or equivalent) at grade A* - C or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4 – 9 including Maths and English
- The right to work in the UK for the duration of the Graduate Programme
