WGM are seeking to recruit a Graduate production engineering within our Fabrication team which is based out of Newbridge.
The Graduate role will play a pivotal role in supporting the production and delivery of end-to-end manufacturing solutions within the water and wastewater sector. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of fabrication and engineering projects. From initial design to final handover, you will contribute technical expertise to the Fabrication Team and assist in delivering innovative and efficient solutions for WGM Projects.
Reporting to the Fabrication Delivery Manager, you will be actively involved in tasks that span the design, development, and installation of various fabricated structures. This exposure will allow you to build a comprehensive understanding of industry-specific challenges, standards, and project requirements, developing your expertise on a project-by-project basis.
Duties & responsibilities
- Conduct site visits to gather essential information to support the development of design packages and the successful delivery of projects. Assist, in preparing scope reports that clearly define client needs and outline project requirements.
- Actively participate in internal and client meetings, contributing insights and updates as needed.
- Support design teams by contributing to the development of detailed drawings and other documentation related to fabrication and manufacturing processes.
- Maintain a strong awareness and understanding of client requirements and industry specifications, ensuring all work aligns with relevant standards.
- Always conduct yourself professionally and safely, adhering to WGM policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Accurately utilise the WGM timesheet system to log and maintain detailed records of time spent on each task or project.
To be considered for this role, you will need to be qualified to Degree level in an engineering discipline. You will have excellent written and verbal skills and have a desire to learn. A valid UK drivers license will be needed due to travel across various sites in the UK.
