We are looking for a Operational Purchasing Buyer to join our team in Middlesbrough. Reporting to the Operational Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for:
Applications are welcome from recent qualified graduates with Procurement / Purchasing experience. A training programme will be tailored to suit the individual with a progression route for their career progression within the team.
- Develop, update and execute the procurement plan within the assigned commodities related to HV installation perimeter
- Manage the procurement plan guaranteeing compliance with budget, timing, contractual requirements; Drafting bidder lists, analyzing offers, negotiating prices and discussing contractual conditions with the support of internal clients departments
- Identify saving and improvement opportunities in terms of costs, process, quality, service, etc.
- Promote Purchasing early involvement and support; Implement purchasing procedures and processes;
- Scout the market to expand suppliers basis for strategic commodities; Perform spent analysis and market evaluation;
You are the right fit if you have/are
- Ideally hold previous experience within Purchasing function;
- Preferably experience developed into multinational companies;
- Determined, enthusiast and committed to manage complexity and challenges;
- Excellent team building attitude;
- Good communication skills and strategic mindset;
- Proficiency in English, Italian is a plus;
- Familiar with SAP system.
