    About the role

    Joining a dedicated professional Agile development team; working closely with a technical mentor, who will help you to develop your business and technological knowledge and skills required to thrive within the role and progress in your career.

    What to expect within the role

    You will be supported to learn how to design, write and execute automated and manual test suites to ensure adequate and effective test coverage and provide test assurance of the user stories in a test-first environment using cloud architecture.

    You will provide assurance at team retrospectives and planning sessions to ensure test best practice, continual improvements and appropriate standards are adhered to. We will help you grow your knowledge of:

    • Agile software development, DevOps and testing technologies
    • Programming languages and tools such as Scala, Databricks, Azure Data Factory + more

    What we’re looking for

    Evidence that you already have experience of software development or testing will support your application. Examples to incorporate into your Cover Letter:

    • IT experience using tools, technologies, methodologies, or best practice for developing, testing, or supporting systems or software
    • Experience of implementing tests and/or test frameworks
    • Knowledge and experience of non-functional testing
    • Academic knowledge in IT practices
    • Drive and determination to rapidly learn complex skills independently
    • Collaborating and working in teams
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and customers
