    We are seeking a self-motivated Trainee SHEQ Advisor to assist with a variety of contracts and sites across London.

    What you will do

    As a Trainee SHEQ Advisor you will be responsible for:

    • Supporting the business SHEQ objectives to assist in driving change and improvement.
    • You will provide administration and expert support to Contracting and Operational teams as necessary.
    • Logging and distribution of incoming SHEQ related communications.
    • Provide feedback to the Sub Contractor and Supplier SHEQ compliance database.
    • Review and audit office and site-based systems of work along with controlled files and documents.
    • Carry out site SHEQ Inspections as required
    • Operate within the requirements of the Company IMS Policy and Procedures.
    • Produce required reports and statistics in line with timescales.
    • Investigate incidents and agree actions to prevent further occurrence.
    • Ensure non-conformances are dealt with appropriately and closed out in within agreed timescales.
    • Ensure client requirements are identified and embedded on sites.
    • Liaise with client’s SHEQ personnel and take an active part in client forums.

    To be successful you will need

    • NEBOSH Certificate [Construction/General].
    • NRSWA- (Preferred but not essential)
    • EUSR: SHEA Water & Hygiene. (Preferred but not essential)
    • Word processing, Excel spreadsheets, Data collation and presentation.
    • Health, Safety & Environmental background, ideally in Construction, Utilities or Highways.
    • Ability to gain in-depth knowledge of Company Policies, Procedures and Operational needs.
    • Presentation Skills and ability to assist in delivery of training.
    • Understanding of behavioural safety.
