This graduate scheme is a unique 2 year opportunity, with placements in leading technology disciplines across diverse teams. The Role
Over 24 months, you will work closely with ITV technology departments including our award-winning ITV Hub video on demand service, our broadcast and studios areas, and key functions that all companies need from cloud hosting to finance, networks and cybersecurity. This is one of the most diverse technology graduate schemes in the industry and you will get a wide exposure to different roles and teams.
All of our Technology Graduates have a similar structure in the first year; time working within each of the business areas, structured training in a development language (Scala, Java or front-end), and an extended placement with one of our software engineering teams. After that, we work with each individual to put together a combination of placements, projects and learning that helps them to focus their development into a career specialism, and enables them to work towards a long term career at ITV.
Expect to gain key skills in everything from software development, product and project management, video engineering, data science, cyber security, devops and cloud - all within a creative media environment.
Video is exploding in all industries from marketing, social media and content production, to medical training in remote locations - and this makes ITV well placed to support you on your journey in this growing domain. Who can apply?
We are looking for dynamic and driven people with an appetite for learning to join our technology team. We want people who are passionate about what we do, and have a clear ability to solve complex problems. You may have, or be working towards, a degree in a Science, Maths or Engineering subject, or have equivalent experience to prove your suitability; even if you have a degree in another discipline but have displayed a clear passion and desire to have a career in technology then we'd love to hear from you.
- You are a UK/EEA resident
- You have or are on track for a 2:2 degree in a related subject
- You have demonstrable experience in a technology or engineering capacity
