Team Information
The team has a good mix of skills and experience, and we are always looking for staff to join us that can assist us with fresh ways of thinking and how to support our clients better. Our approach to work is relaxed but at the same time professional, thereby creating a collaborative and supportive environment.
We support ship and submarine safety throughout platform and system lifecycles from Concept through to Decommissioning. Additionally, we provide skills and expertise to enable our customers to provide the safe facilities required to support Royal Navy platforms.
What you’ll be doing at Frazer-Nash?

As part of the maritime safety team within Frazer-Nash you will be assessing the safety of new platform and system designs, as well as design changes to those that are already in-service.
Working as part of a team you will be working collaboratively to meet customer needs and offer solutions that have the potential to exceed their expectations. Regularly interfacing and interacting with clients is a fundamental part of what we do and as such you will learn first hand what help they require.
Whilst this opportunity is primarily maritime safety focussed, you will have the chance to use your skills and talents working across a diverse range of multi-disciplinary projects and industries, helping us deliver a safe and secure world against a backdrop of rapidly evolving technology.
During the course of our work there is sometimes a need to visit, or be located at, client sites.

Required:
- A science or engineering related degree level qualification (2:1 or above)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Aptitude for problem solving and a willingness to take on new challenges
Desirable:
- MSc in a safety related discipline such as System Safety or Safety and Reliability
The nature of our work means that we sometimes require staff to access Government material, it is therefore necessary for all our employees to gain appropriate security clearance. We will apply for clearance if you have successfully been selected for a position, and we will decide if we can successfully gain full clearance on your behalf based on the content of your application.
