    The Summer Internship scheme

    We offer a 6-12-week paid internship in one of our busy teams, giving you real and meaningful responsibilities from the start. You’ll have opportunities across various sectors and services, including agency, valuation, rural and commercial property management, land access and rights, agri-business consultancy and planning.

    Our summer internships provide first-hand experience of life at Fisher German. You’ll join our network of colleagues, graduates and sandwich placements on training, social and sporting events.

    Many of our past summer students have enjoyed it so much they returned as graduates or year-placements. Some of our office locations that have previously offered summer internships include: Ashby, Ashford, Banbury, Birmingham, Bury St Edmunds, Doncaster, Knutsford, Liverpool or Manchester, Market Harborough, Newark, Stafford, Worcester.

    Candidate criteria

    The scheme is designed for students in their first or second year of undergraduate study or about to start a post graduate course. We welcome candidates from all degree backgrounds and are especially interested if you can demonstrate:

    • A genuine interest in property, surveying or planning
    • Strong communication and relationship- building skills
    • A positive, can-do attitude
    • Values that align with ours!
    • Ability to travel, as you may accompany colleagues on site visits and client meetings, often in remote locations.
