Solve complex technology problems for some of the world’s largest organisations, making an impact to both global and local clients across the island of Ireland.
Programme overview
We provide clients with a full range of technology related services, from strategic advice to full stack implementation and managed services. We work with the latest emerging and established technologies and have alliances with all major technology software providers so that we can meet all our client’s needs.
Our job is to understand what technological challenges our clients are facing, and then find the best solutions to help them improve how they work. Our teams specialise in a range of skills from those with existing technical expertise to those from wider STEM backgrounds with the desire to learn. It’s about being tech-savvy, having a proactive mindset, and being great with people.
What you will be doing
- Working across a range of different industries and sectors to address technology challenges for our clients.
- Building and applying your knowledge of Technical Project Management/Delivery, Business/Technical and Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cybersecurity, Intelligent Automation, Cloud/Microsoft Services, Blockchain, ERP/CRM, and Systems Engineering & Integration.
- Applying your technical knowledge and business experience to recommend, build and deliver the best solutions to our clients. We will place you onto a project and team best suited to your interests, experience, background and skillset.
- Supporting our clients to put in place organisation-wide transformation programme changes.
- You’ll also be expected to be flexible and may spend large proportions of your time away from the office, either working from home/anywhere or on client site as part of our hybrid working model.
Eligibility for applying
We’re looking for students that have a passion and interest in technology and/or those that have some experience of: SQL, Python, R, Java, C++ or PowerBI and knowledge of cloud computing, cyber security, data analysis/manipulation and reporting.
If you’re in your penultimate year of university and studying for a STEM or computer science-related Honours Degree that includes a one-year placement, this programme is for you. You’ll need a minimum of Level 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths; and three A-levels/5 Highers (or equivalent).
Eligibility for visa sponsorship
The EY summer internship and industrial placement programmes are specifically designed as a pathway to our Graduate programme within the same business area and location. We’re unable to offer visa sponsorship for the Graduate programme aligned to this internship due to UK Home Office regulations. Therefore, we cannot accept applications for this role from those who would require EY sponsorship after university graduation.
