The Communications team manages all official messaging, both internal and external, from Edinburgh Airport. The team encapsulates marketing, internal communications, corporate communications and pr, sustainability, air space planning and noise management.
You will join the Communications team, and gain an insight to all aspects, particularly supporting our Internal Communications team.
About the recruitment process
The interview process for this role will be a one stage interview, with our Internal Communications Manager, and you will be asked to complete a task, which we will confirm upon invite to interview.

What you'll be doing
- Whilst gaining an insight into all aspects of the Communications team, you will be supporting Internal Communications team to help drive our internal communications strategy which aims to engage and empower our people in the day-to-day running of the airport and inspire them to participate in our longer-term strategic goals.
- You will help plan, develop and deliver internal communications across a variety of channels, events, campaigns and activities.
- The role will primarily focus on looking at how we can maximise our internal communication platform Gate 8 to build relationships within our teams.
What we're looking for
A student who is currently enrolled at College or University, studying English / Communications / PR / Marketing as a core subject, who can also ideally show:
- Confidence with creating, developing and producing a range of content using a variety of methods such as copy, graphics, video, blogs and newsletters
- A creative eye to bring forward new and relevant ideas
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all business levels
- You’re motivated and have an interest to try new things and get stuck in!
