The Partnership for Education brings together in one place the expertise in education reform from Cambridge University Press & Assessment, supported by the global network of the University of Cambridge. We partner with clients to develop education systems. This can involve providing a number of different products and services and delivering bespoke solutions which best fit the context. Clients are likely to include Ministries of Education, donor organisations, private foundations, national/regional education organisations and exam boards.

    We are looking for a dynamic and innovative intern to support the development and delivery of our live products aimed at transforming education systems. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a passionate, fast-paced environment.

    About the role

    As a Product Management Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development, delivery, and evaluation of products within our diverse portfolio. This can vary from working on our fellowship programmes through to engaging with our communities and supporting the scoping of new products.

    As part of this role you will

    • support with analysing customer needs, market trends, and competitor offerings to identify product opportunities and contribute to developing the value proposition.
    • collect user feedback and help identify areas for product improvement.
    • help create and maintain product roadmaps and delivery schedules.
    • support the product development process for new products.
    • collaborate with product, marketing and commercial teams.
    • assist in preparing presentations and documentation for stakeholder meetings, commercial pitches and product specific collateral.

    About you

    To be successful in this role, the following skills, values and behaviours are desirable:

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Education, Business, Marketing, International Development, or a related field.
    • Passion for product management and innovation within Education Reform.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    What to expect

    Applying for our internship is simple, and we're here to support you every step of the way! Successful applicants will then be invited to an interview, and if selected, you'll join us for an exciting 8-week programme starting on Monday, 14th July, and ending on Friday, 5th September.

    Key dates

    • 31st march – 23rd april: After submitting your application, there will be a selection period where we review all candidates.
    • The deadline for all applications is Wednesday, 23rd April. To help you learn more about the role, we'll be hosting a Find Out More session alongside creative access on 16th April. 5th – 16th may: You can expect to hear from us with an application update, and if you're successful, be invited to interview
    • You can expect an update on your interview, if you're successful you will receive a placement offer. We will ask for acceptance responses by 30th May.
