    BBVA London is seeking a motivated and proactive HR Analyst (temporary) to support the Human Resources team with various HR administrative tasks, employee engagement initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration with the Marketing & Communication, and Diversity disciplines. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong initiative, the ability to work independently, and excellent analytical skills with a particular focus on data modeling and Excel-based KPI tracking.

    Key responsibilities

    HR administration & Support

    • Assist with day-to-day HR administrative tasks such as employee record management , document preparation , and HR database updates .
    • Help manage the HR inbox , responding to employee queries and escalating issues as needed.
    • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including coordination of documentation and HR induction materials.
    • Contribute to HR policy and procedure documentation , ensuring compliance with company policies.

    HR reporting data analysis

    • Assist in tracking and updating key HR metrics and performance indicators (KPIs) .
    • Prepare and analyze monthly HR reports related to headcount, turnover, diversity, and employee engagement.
    • Utilize Excel and data visualization tools to create insightful reports that drive HR decision-making.
    • Support the HR team in enhancing data analytics and modeling processes to improve HR efficiency.

    Employee engagement culture initiatives

    • Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, and Diversity teams to support engagement programs.
    • Help plan and coordinate internal events, training sessions, and employee well-being initiatives .
    • Assist with the design and communication of HR campaigns , including newsletters and employee engagement surveys.

    Crossfunctional co-ordination

    • Work closely with different departments (Marketing, Communication, Diversity, etc.) to align HR initiatives with corporate goals .
    • Assist in coordinating diversity & inclusion initiatives , ensuring alignment with company values.
    • Support HR-related communications and branding efforts.

    Qualifications and skills required

    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field .
    • Strong Excel and data modeling skills (proficiency in pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts, and dashboards).
    • Experience with data tracking and KPI reporting is a plus.
    • Detail-oriented , highly organized, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills .
    • Ability to work independently , take initiative, and think critically.
    • Knowledge of HR systems (e.g., ADP, Workday) and data visualization tools is advantageous but not required.
