Reporting to the local Digital Workplace Manager as part of the Broader Infrastructure Operations Team, the Digital Workplace Engineer will play an essential role in supporting the business by identifying, investigating, and fulfilling technical requests and managing complex end user issues through to resolution.
Principal responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service while responding to phone, e-mail and online requests for technical support
- Track and monitor all support cases to ensure timely resolution and follow-up
- Manage, maintain and support the Virtual Desktop estate. (AZURE Virtual Desktop)
- Perform application packaging tasks, releasing software to the Ascot Company Portal.
- Administer and manage Office 365, Intune and Microsoft collaboration tools.
- As required, engage in the IT Asset Management processes to ensure a complete and accurate inventory of end-user devices is maintained.
- Create, maintain and update Knowledge articles.
- Support and maintain Audio Visual equipment in local meeting rooms and executive offices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or A-Level in Computer Science
- Demonstrable record of high achievement, analytical thinking, self-motivation, and relationship building
- Highly collaborative
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Proactive team player, rigorous and eager to learn.
