The Different Branches of the Royal Navy
There are more than 100 different roles in the Royal Navy. To join, you need to submit an application form via the Royal Navy website. Below, you'll find an overview of the different branches and what jobs they offer.
Engineering
Our team of engineers are specially trained to work with powerful mechanical systems and sophisticated technology – from warship engines to submarine sonar. Some of the roles we offer are:

Fleet Air Arm
We need a dedicated team of specialists to handle, maintain and fly our aircraft – from F-35 Lightning jets to Wildcat helicopters. Some roles offered are:

Logistics
The logistics team makes sure our personnel have everything they need to do their job – from food to fuel, hospitality to HR. Join as a logistics officer to ensure our operations run efficiently, our personnel have what they need, when they need it, wherever they are in the world.
Medical
Our people are our biggest asset. It’s our medical team who keep them fit and well, providing care in hospitals, at sea and in the field. You could join as:

Warfare
Each operation is carefully planned and executed thanks to a team of specialists who use the latest communications kit, radar and weaponry. Some roles offered are:
