Construction: delivers a range of construction projects for both the public and private sectors. It also provides housing maintenance and facilities management services through our Kier Places business.
Group Functions: Kier Group functions provides the central underpin to ensure we carry out our responsibilities as a UK plc and strategic supplier to the UK Government, keep the business moving and play a vital role in delivering our group-wide success. It is made up of our corporate functions, including people, finance, IT, procurement, corporate affairs and communications.
Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks: designs, builds and maintains vital infrastructure assets across the water, energy and telecoms sectors.
Property: specialising in urban regeneration, last mile logistics and modern sustainable office developments. With a development of £1.5bn the team is able to bring economic life back to sites to create communities for the future.
Transportation: designs, builds and maintains infrastructure for the road, rail, aviation and ports sectors.

Open Doors 2025We’re excited to announce our support for Open Doors 2025! This yearly event, organised by Build UK, is all about inspiring people to take a fresh look at the construction industry and discover the many opportunities it has to offer. This year, over 40 Kier sites, depots, and offices across the country will be opening their doors. Young people will get the chance to step behind the hoardings and see first-hand the amazing work that goes into building our communities. And did you know? There are so many ways to start your journey in construction. You could: - Take on a degree apprenticeship while you earn. - Join straight from school and develop on the job. - Enrol in a graduate programme to build specialised skills. - Or even gain some work experience to get a feel for the industry! It’s a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase what we do and inspire the next generation of talent. With hundreds of roles available and many supported routes to entry, there’s never been a better time to explore what construction has to offer.
