A bit about AWS Educate
Simply put, this is Amazon’s global initiative to accelerate cloud-learning and to prepare students for the cloud-enabled jobs of tomorrow. According to LinkedIn, cloud computing has been an in-demand skill for the past 5 years. By completing the AWS Educate Cloud Career Pathways and badges and attending online webinars, students can take the initiative with their education and begin upskilling themselves to improve their CV and boost employability. Plus, it's completely free to take part.
The AWS Educate Challenge
Launching on the 5th of October 2020, the AWS Educate Challenge is an inter University competition where you compete against other students to earn the most points by the 23rd of November. Points are given out for completing AWS Educate Cloud Career Pathways and badges, so you earn points for learning!
The exciting prizes, which are awarded to those who manage to place in the top thirty, are:
