Louise

“Female perspective is very important, and the value women bring to automotive is incredibly powerful. Here, people champion you to make the most of your career, and support you the whole way.”

Louise joined Rolls-Royce Motor Cars as a student on placement, but after completing her degree, she decided to join the Rolls-Royce graduate scheme.

“I started my graduate scheme working in the marketing and experiential area. I was on the scheme for two years and in that time worked within the European region, supporting and managing a major motoring show for three months. After that I moved into a permanent role in experiential marketing for six years, which was an incredibly defining moment in my career as I worked across the BMW Group running various events and conferences.”

After exploring her passion for the brand events, Louise decided it was time to challenge her development and learn from other business areas. She moved into marketing communications services as a Marketing Manager – and three years later took on a secondment in the Product team.

“It’s amazing to be able to do something outside of your original area of expertise and work in a different dynamic. It really pushes you outside of your comfort zone.”

Louise joined the graduate scheme looking for a career with autonomy and the chance to make an impact. Since beginning her journey with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars 10 years ago, she has been a part of some the business’ most defining moments.

“We launched Black Bridge to the dealers, and seeing that project through from concept phase to delivery and event execution was incredible. When you’re here and appreciate the passion that goes into crafting the cars, the passion prevails, and it inspires everyone.”

From intern to grad to Marketing Manager, Louise has carved her own path thanks to a fantastic foundation in her graduate scheme.

“Thinking back to my graduate intake, there was a really nice sense of togetherness that helped us form a strong bond at such an important time. I’ve stayed true to myself as I’ve grown and learnt on both a personal and professional level – and people who met me as an intern and now in my current role know I have the same values now.”

Through seeking out the new, making suggestions for positive change, and with the support of her network, Louise is enjoying an exciting and fulfilling career at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
