Meet Pippa

I studied Business Information Systems in University College Cork, which led me to pursue a career in business with a focus on technology. This ultimately led me to apply for the graduate programme at Alfa.

On Alfa’s graduate programme you get the chance to experience life in different areas of the business. This really helps you to better fulfil your role, as you have a solid understanding of how other teams in Alfa operate.

Following initial induction, I joined a migration project as an Implementation Analyst. Throughout my time with Alfa, I’ve worked on many different projects, from migration, to project engineering, to my latest role on the support team.

Life in implementation is extremely varied and depends on the client and the stage of the project. During my time on support I’ve had great exposure to a variety of clients from smaller Alfa Start clients to major banks utilising Alfa Systems. No two days are the same and we’re never short of problem-solving opportunities. It’s interesting to get a first-hand look at how Alfa satisfies clients’ daily needs, and how it supports our clients with the customer experiences they offer.

Alfa puts a huge emphasis on continuous development, with numerous training sessions offered throughout the year, allowing you to move at a pace that works for you and helping you to feel confident in do the role at hand.
