How long have you been with us and what did you study at university?
I’ve been with Persimmon Homes since September 2024, and I have a BSc Hons in business studies and BA in business management both awarded by the University of Exeter.
What are you doing at the moment?
Currently I am in my first year of the graduate scheme and I’m making my way through my rotation. I’m working with technical department and will moving into the land department next.
What do you enjoy about working at Persimmon?
Each day there is a new challenge meaning that no two days are the same. I’ve also found that the team here wants me to succeed and get the most out of my rotation, so they are always getting me involved in tasks and passing on their knowledge to help me develop.
How have you found the graduate scheme so far and the support you’ve received?
The graduate scheme has been great as far as I’ve settled in well with my new team and have been offered support and guidance by the graduate leads.
What would you say to someone who is thinking about applying?
This graduate scheme is perfect for someone looking to get into the housebuilding. During your time you get an in depth look at each department during your rotation which is a massive advantage as you can use this knowledge to push you further throughout your career at persimmon.
