What do you do in the team?
I am lucky that the placement role is split across three teams meaning every week is slightly different. I support the Revenue team with billing clients and supporting managers with queries. Days with the costs team involves processing staff expenses and supplier invoices whilst providing monthly analysis for the business. Lastly, I help the reporting team with various queries involving business analysis, report building and system improvements.
What’s your favourite part of the job and why?
I think it’s the variety of the role. Having a mix of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks makes the days fly by and I can get involved with as much as I want to which is brilliant for gaining experience. I also really enjoy meeting people from all around the business which this role facilitates.
What caught your eye about Cooper Parry?
The culture and workspace provided was an instant attraction. Just from looking on the website and my first interview, I knew that CP was different and would be a fun place to work. It has lived up to its reputation, whether that’s the free sweet wall, playing pool in the afternoon or joining meetings from the sofas, it really is awesome.
Plus, the work from anywhere anytime policy makes fitting in other commitments and travelling around super easy.
If you could only watch one film for the rest of your life, what would it be?
What a tough question. I think Home alone 2 has got to be up there. Never fails to make me laugh even though I watch it every Christmas.
Who is your dream dinner guest, dead or alive, and why?
There is so many! I am going to go for Michael McIntyre. The last thing I want is a boring conversation over dinner and with him I am guaranteed to be crying with laughter. I think he is hilarious and probably my favourite comedian, the wasp sketch would have to be performed live during the dinner though.
