Describe your role at Aon
My role involves supporting the team with administration and other tasks. I get plenty of opportunities to attend underwriter meetings and social events to build relationships and get myself known within the market.
As part of the graduate programme, I have the opportunity to rotate across three different teams which allows me to determine the area that I prefer as well as develop different skills.
What training have you received?
Aon emphasises the importance of constantly learning alongside working. As part of the graduate programme, we are given the opportunity to undertake the ACII qualifications which are funded by the company.
We receive regular on-the-job training and attend underwriter workshops which helps to keep up to date with changes within the market and develop new skills.
