Sanaya’s day usually begins by checking her emails and reviewing financial news and market updates to stay informed about current events. Her day typically involves a multitude of tasks – from helping clients who want to onboard new BNY Mellon Funds to their platforms to connecting with her colleagues in Madrid, Luxenberg, Switzerland, France and Italy to help with operational and technical client support and ensuring requests are executed.

As her role requires both technical knowledge high-level financial understanding, Sanaya has had opportunities to upskill and is constantly learning in her team while also leveraging the Firms free learning development resources. Since joining BNY Mellon Sanaya has had the opportunity to engage with several senior leaders of the Firm as well as moderating a fireside chat hosted by three site leaders from the London Branch. She is passionate about encouraging more young women to pursue careers in finance in an effort to broaden the sector's diversity, equity, and inclusion. She believes that diverse perspectives enrich the industry and lead to more robust decision-making. Sanaya was part of a BNY Mellon Social Impact project, where along with her teammates came up with a solution that BNY Mellon can implement to help contribute to achieving UN Sustainable Development Goals ’10.2: Reduce Inequality’. By specifically concentrating on women, her team developed a creative concept for a program that BNY Mellon may use to further this objective.
