It is a great way to learn how the different divisions work together and discover where you’d like to take your career.

On each rotation you will be a key member of the team, putting forward ideas, contributing to live projects and picking up a broad range of valuable skills. From Research to Sales and Investment Banking, you will discover new skills, explore different possibilities and plan your future at Berenberg. So, at the end of your 12-month programme, you will be all set for your first permanent role.

Your programme starts with a four-week induction that introduces you to the business and our unique approach to banking. It is a great opportunity to get to know the other graduates on the programme, come face-to-face with senior business leaders and build a valuable network of contacts across the bank. With a series of training workshops in everything from Excel to Financial Modelling, teamwork and presentation skills, you will also start to develop the core skills that will stand you in good stead throughout your career.

Over 12 months, you will experience a series of rotations across every part of our equities and investment banking businesses. From contributing to company and sector research, to supporting Sales teams, and working on high-profile Investment Banking projects, you'll be an active member of each team. So, you will have the chance to voice your opinions, do real work and genuinely make your mark.

You won't just gain knowledge and skills. The rotations will open your eyes to all the available career possibilities for the time after the graduate program. Senior managers will support you at every stage, offering constructive feedback and planning your next rotation, based on your career aspirations. Then, towards the end of the program, we will sit down with you to mutually decide on the right career direction for you.

So, whatever teams you join, you'll be encouraged to take early responsibility, make your own decisions and be an active member of the team.
