Bright Network FESTIVAL 2024 - entry time FAQs

Book open Reading time: 3 mins

What does morning entry mean?

Morning entry means you'll be able to arrive at the venue at 10am (UK time) on 13th September. You'll then get entry into the venue from 10:30am. You'll be able to network and attend sessions between 10:30am - 1:30pm.

The latest you can register for morning entry and access the event is 12pm.

You need to have left the venue by 1:30pm if you haven't already.

What does afternoon entry mean?

Afternoon entry means you'll be able to register from 1pm (UK time) on 13th September. You'll be able to network and attend sessions between 2pm - 5pm.

Do not arrive before 12pm as you will be told to come back later when your ticket is valid.

The latest you can register for afternoon entry and access the event is 4pm.

You need to have left the venue by 5pm (or 5:20pm after the final session of the day) if you haven't already.

Can I attend in the morning and afternoon as an in-person attendee?

No. You can only apply for morning or afternoon entry. If you apply for both, you will be randomly allocated an entry time. You will not be able to swap entry times once you apply.

Can I attend virtually? How do entry times work if I'm attending virtually?

Yes! FESTIVAL is a hybrid event, meaning you can attend virtually. You won't be able to network with employers, but you can watch as many sessions as you like.

Virtual attendees can access the whole day. You can apply on either event page, just select virtual attendance on the final page of the application form.

If I attend in person in the morning, can I attend virtually in the afternoon?

No. However, if you complete the post-event survey (sent out via email after the event), you'll get access to recordings of the whole day's panel and skill-building sessions.

What if I'm bringing a friend?

If you're attending in person with a friend, you should apply for the same entry slot so you can network and go to sessions together.

Can I swap my in-person ticket to a different entry time?

No. Due to the volume of applications and limited team resource, we can't reallocate tickets - so make sure you're committed to your time slot when you apply and put it in your calendar.

Can I swap my in-person ticket to a virtual ticket?

You can request to swap to a virtual ticket by filling out one of the following forms:

  • If you currently have a ticket to access the event in the morning, complete this form to switch to a virtual ticket
  • If you currently have a ticket to access the event in the afternoon, complete this form to switch to a virtual ticket

The deadline to submit the form is 2nd September. If you submit after this date, we will not be able to accommodate your request.

Anyone who requests a switch to a virtual ticket by 2nd September will be sent a virtual ticket a couple of days before the event, so you don't need to email us prior to the event.

Can I swap my virtual ticket to an in-person ticket?

No, unfortunately we cannot accommodate this due to resource in the team and popularity of the event.

What if I have accessibility requirements?

We are committed to making our events inclusive and accessible. If you have an accessibility requirement, please get in touch by emailing events@brightnetwork.co.uk. You can also look at our DEI&B initiatives and the FESTIVAL resource hub which has more details about accessibility at the venue and online.

Will food be provided?

No. We recommend eating before you arrive and bringing snacks/water with you.
