A brand new experience for 2022

You may have taken part in Internship Experience UK last year, or this may be a completely new opportunity for you. Either way, this year’s experience has been re-designed to ensure everyone can make the most of it. 

There are different skills sessions and a brand new work sample - all created to help you get ahead in this competitive sector. There are also more employers to network with and ask your questions to, helping you stand out in future interviews. Here’s what to expect:

• Hear from inspiring keynote speaker, Tim Campbell - winner of The Apprentice and co-founder of the Bright Ideas Trust, a social enterprise to help young people from disadvantaged backgrounds start their own businesses. 
• Connect with leading employers across the business, operations & marketing sectors, including Nestlé, BT, British Airways and more
• Take part in a work sample that you can talk about in interviews and will help you understand the type of work you’d be doing as a graduate, intern or placement student in these sectors

Sessions you’ll get

Over the course of three days, you’ll be able to meet and hear from a number of leading organisations and develop a variety of key skills for your future applications, interviews and roles.

• Learn how to demonstrate transferable skills with ICAEW
• Become a pro at preparing for interviews with PwC
• Perfect your presentation skills with WTW
• Gain top-tier CV and application advice from Vodafone

Plus, hear from influential leaders like Tahmid Chowdhury (Forbes 30 under 30) and Elspeth Coates Gibson (Chief Commercial Officer, Appointedd) on topical subjects, including commercial awareness and networking.

There will also be plenty of opportunities to spend time on your work sample submission, which will be briefed to you on day two. You’ll be set a task and have opportunities to ask questions before you present your work to a peer and gain feedback.

Am I eligible and how do I apply?

Internship Experience UK 2022: Business, Operations & Marketing is open to every student and recent graduate (18+). All you need to take part is a Bright Network membership, which is completely free and you can sign up when you start your application. To apply, simply click the button below and fill in your application form - it takes less than 10 minutes to complete. You don’t need previous experience to complete the programme  - just passion for the sector. 

If you took part in the 2020 or 2021 experiences, we 100% recommend taking part this year. This is a completely new experience with different sessions, more employers for you to meet and new work samples to complete, all of which will allow you to build on your learning from previous years and gain a competitive advantage.
