Date: Tuesday, 15th October
Location: Virtual (Zoom Events)
🗓️ Agenda | 🤝 DEI&B and accessibility
Why Attend?
Bright Network research indicates that only 44% of LGBTQ+ students feel confident about securing a role after university. Proud to B aims to bridge this gap by providing you with opportunities to:
- Gain valuable insights and skills directly from industry leaders through upskilling sessions
- Learn how to craft applications that shine by receiving top tips from early careers experts
- Build confidence for the upcoming application season through advice from LGBTQ+ employer representatives
Plus, you’ll also have the chance to discover top employers who are committed to diversity and inclusivity and engage with firm representatives to ask questions about being authentic at work, navigating the application process, and more.
A Safe and Inclusive Space
We understand that not everyone may be ready to "come out" in professional settings. This event is open to allies as well as members of the LGBTQ+ community, with no obligation to share personal details. You can choose how much or how little to share about yourself through your name, photo, and bio on the virtual platform. While there are networking opportunities, you are welcome to keep your camera off if that makes you feel more comfortable.
*Sponsorship opportunities with participating employers may be limited for attendees without the permanent right to work in the UK
