The event is running in a hybrid format, so you can attend virtually or in-person. However, virtual attendees will not have the opportunity to network with the employers. Instead, we will run employer interviews to help our virtual attendees gain more insights.
*Sponsorship opportunities with participating employers may be limited for attendees without the permanent right to work in the UK

Who can attend
You’re an entry-level candidate currently studying for your first undergraduate bachelor’s degree, or
You’re pursuing a master’s degree while having completed your undergraduate degree less than one year ago, or studying an integrated masters
Those who identify with under-represented groups - including but not limited to: UK state or grammar school attendees who received free school meals; state school attendees or scholarship recipients for fee-paying schools; first-generation university students; LGBTQ+ individuals; those from Black, Asian, or Minority Ethnic backgrounds; those currently or formerly in local authority care; full- or part-time carers (or have previously been a carer); refugees or asylum seekers.
You’re graduating in 2025, 2026, 2027 (or 2028 if on a 4-year course). However, this event is particularly relevant to current first and second year undergraduate students.
You’re attending university in the UK (if you’ll be attending in person)
You’re on track for a 2:1 and can demonstrate academic excellence
Additional skills gained from extracurricular activities/work experience will be viewed favourably

Arrival, registration and icebreaker session with the Student Leadership Board
For in-person attendees, this involves chatting to other members in the main exhibition room (standing and walking). Virtual attendees will also join a virtual icebreaker session.
Welcome and keynote talk from EY
For in-person attendees, this is a seated session in the main presentation room. This session will be live-streamed for virtual attendees.
Skills session from EY
For in-person attendees, this is a seated session in the main presentation room. This session will be live-streamed for virtual attendees.
Virtual: Lunch and live employer interviews
12:30 p.m. - 1 p.m. - Lunch break 1 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. - Live employer interviews where you can submit questions via the chat 1:45 p.m. - 2 p.m. - Break
In-person: Lunch and networking
For in-person attendees, lunch will be provided. This part of the event involves talking to other members and employers at their exhibition stands (standing and walking).
Panel discussion: The reality of intersectionality in the workplace
For in-person attendees, this is a seated session in the main presentation room. This session will be live-streamed for virtual attendees.
Break
This part of the event involves talking to other members and employers at their exhibition stands (standing and walking).
Skill-building workshop or networking
Half the in-person attendees will network with employers while the other half (and virtual attendees) will join a workshop. Networking involves moving around employers' exhibition stands.

Virtual: Ask Me Anything Q&A
Get your questions answered about applications, interviews, a day in the life, and more.
In-person: Skill-building workshop or networking
The group will swap over so those who networked from 3:30 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. will now take part in the skills session, and vice versa.

To confirm your place at the event, you may be contacted by call or text by the Bright Network team. Please make sure your details are all correct and up-to-date on your profile.
Travel reimbursement:
We would really like all our students to be able to have the opportunity to attend our events and we want to support where possible. Anyone attending our spring events in-person is eligible for a reimbursement of up to £30. To request a reimbursement, complete and submit this application form. You will then be sent a form to complete reimbursement payment details and upload your travel reciepts. Full instructions will be given on the forms.
You need to attend the event in full to receive the reimbursement. Reimbursements will be sent out after the event you are attending. You need to have submitted the application form by 20/03/25, 11:59pm in order to be eligible.
