Joining Wood for your Year in Industry placement you’ll be joining a culture of innovation, pushing the boundaries of what is possible to seek the best solutions for our clients.
The role

As an Engineering Systems Placement Student you will have exposure to different parts of the business gaining vital skills within Engineering Systems and Information Management arenas including application management and the use of digital transformation technologies within the project.
At the end of your Placement you will be perfectly placed to join Woods sector leading Graduate program completing your studies with industry experience that will help you accelerate your career at the cutting edge of Engineering Systems!

Responsibilities
As a Engineering Systems & Information Management Engineer you will have exposure to different parts of the business gaining vital skills. In addition to conventional sectors, you can expect to become involved in:
- Carbon Capture: Industrial clusters, concept development to detailed engineering.
- Hydrogen: blue hydrogen (w/CCS), green hydrogen, ammonia/hydrogen economy innovation.
- Future of hydrocarbons: adapting existing facilities and designing ambitious new projects, to produce the next generation of lower carbon fuels and chemicals
- Digital Transformation and Digital Execution
- Application Development and Optimistaion
Qualifications
- Currently studying the 2nd year of your degree in computer science or process engineering
- The aptitude to work in multi-disciplinary team environments
- The right to work in the UK
