The role

As a Graduate Investment Analyst, you’ll be an integral part of our collaborative team, working alongside industry-leading consultants. Your role will involve diverse projects for sophisticated clients, including well-known household names. Our Investments business offers various career paths tailored to individual skills and interests. Whether you’re passionate about deep research on global asset classes, risk management through sophisticated modelling, providing expert investment advice, or implementing innovative solutions, we’ll support you in achieving either a CFA or Actuarial qualification.

As a team member you’ll be involved in some, or all, of the below depending on your team:

Client Consulting Team

  • Contribute to managing client relationships
  • Offer best-in-class advice and solutions across different asset owners
  • Develop client centric investment strategy
  • Develop liability hedging strategy
  • Monitor portfolio performance

Content Team

  • Develop a deep understanding of investment manager strategies
  • Learn the principles of building a robust investment portfolio
  • Conduct deep research on global financial markets, asset classes, investment strategies and investment managers
  • Produce portfolio analytics, modelling and reports
  • Incorporate sustainable investing philosophy

You’ll collaborate with specialist teams to construct and implement efficient investment portfolios aligned with the client risk and return objectives.  Our clients include Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes, Defined Contribution (DC) pension schemes, Wealth Managers, Investment Trusts, Endowments, Foundations, Insurance Companies and Charities.

At WTW, we value flexibility and embrace a hybrid working model. This means you’ll have the opportunity to work both in the office and can work remotely. Our approach supports colleagues in developing the skills they need to succeed and reflects our collaborative culture. In the initial few months graduates are asked to be in the office for four days per week to support the learning curve and development of a team network. Thereafter, uou can expect to spend at least three days in the office each week.

Qualifications

The requirements

  • Minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline
  • Interest in financial markets
  • Comfortable working with numbers

  • Stage 3: Virtual Assessment centre – this is an opportunity for you to meet with members of the team and for the team to understand your strengths, preferences, and motivations.  The assessment will take place virtually, and there will be an opportunity for you to ask questions.
