Our expert services and support encompass risk assessment, risk management and advisory, risk transfer and placement, and claim advocacy. We pride ourselves on our scale, reach, and entrepreneurial approach. By collaborating with colleagues across all WTW segments, we deliver a holistic people and risk proposition to many of our clients. In CRB, we guide clients in understanding, assessing, and managing their risks through a wide range of advisory and insurance broking services. Our teams work closely with our global business units to bring deep local and regional expertise to clients worldwide. Complex risks require smarter solutions, which is why at WTW, our specialised approach, exceptional client service and broader perspective deliver smarter risk management.

The role

Our structured Summer Internship Programme serves as the cornerstone of our full-time CRB Programme as top performing interns will automatically be considered for the full-time Graduate Development Programme (GDP). The summer internship is designed for students who are one year away from graduation. It is an 8-week learning experience across July and August that provides undergraduates with the opportunity over the summer to gain hands-on experience working in the insurance industry and contributing to our business. The programme is comprised of induction, goal setting, training modules, group projects including a final presentation, business speaker series and a formal performance review process.

The programme provides the opportunity for graduates to work hands on with senior leadership with client facing exposures from accounts ranging in the Fortune 500 sector to smaller market local business areas. We serve a diverse range of clients sectors such as in Cyber, Financial Institutions, Marine and Construction. For a full list of industries our colleagues work with click here.

The internship is comprised of a placement opportunity based within our Corporate Risk and Broking segment which is largely within the commercial insurance brokerage sector. The placement assignments will build a technical foundation of knowledge and provide exposure to our clients through meaningful work assignments and projects.
