The role

As a Graduate Process Engineer, you will be working within the Process Engineering Team which forms an integral part of the larger Internal Design Team and is where most of the scheme feasibility and optioneering first takes place. The role will be predominantly focused on wastewater treatment, but opportunities may arise to undertake specific appraisals within water supply. You will be working alongside engineers from all disciplines, helping to deliver multi-million-pound engineering projects that will have a positive impact on society and the environment.

Wessex water will provide on the job experience and in-house training to enable graduates to fully develop into industry respected engineers. As a graduate, you will also get the opportunity to gain real management and commercial experience as well as access to Chartership mentors to begin working towards professional technical qualifications within defined programmes that are accredited by numerous engineering institutions.

About you

In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will need great problem solving and analytical skills, along with good verbal and written communication skills, and will be experienced in delivering results through cross functional working.

You will also have

  • A degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
  • Preferably (but not essential) a masters degree in a process related area.
  • Ability to demonstrate your eligibility to work in the UK and provide evidence of qualifications gained
  • Full UK driving licence.
