We are seeking interested applicants to have achieved or be expected to achieve an environmental related degree – that’s it! No prior experience needed. Key skills/attributes that we’d be looking for from the successful candidate are:
- A passion for the environment
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to influence others
- Knowledge of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process would be helpful
Your Graduate scheme
This role will see the you dealing with the key environmental challenges including: ecology, biodiversity, environmental challenges & survey works. You will be working with local authorities, NRW, other consenting bodies.
The purpose of the overall enabling team is identifying scheme/project risks within the Capital programme and try to proactively mitigate those risks.

Good to know
Your graduate scheme will primarily be based South-East Wales. However, on occasions and with notice you may be expected to travel to sites across the whole of Wales and its borders.
Recruitment process - We are running our adverts until December 8th. Should your application meet our criteria, you’ll be sent a short assessment to complete. The second stage of assessment will be an in-person assessment centre, which likely take place at our head office (Cardiff) between February/March 2025.
