Joining any of our vacation schemes will give you the chance to experience in depth what we do as a firm – and helps us to get to know you.
To get to know us better, apply to join our vacation scheme in the spring or summer. This includes two weeks at our London office for which we provide a weekly allowance of £425.
If accepted, you’ll sit in one or two of the following groups: assets and structured finance; corporate; employment; projects; real estate; regulatory, public law and competition; and tax.
We’ll allocate you a trainee buddy and you will be supervised by one of our lawyers and assigned tasks that are similar to those of a trainee solicitor.
Your two-week vacation scheme will be packed with activities including introductions to our practice groups, upskilling sessions and social events.
Am I eligible?
You need to be in at least the penultimate year of your law degree (or in your final year of a non-law degree) to apply for a vacation scheme. We also accept applications from graduates.
To apply, you will have a 2:1 or above (predicted if you are still studying) or equivalent. If you have completed the law conversion course (PGDL), we look for a merit or distinction. We also expect at least grades ABB (A Levels), 34 points (IB), or equivalent.
If you did not achieve the academic grades outlined, you can use our application form to clarify your individual circumstances, which we will consider.
When can I apply?
We will be accepting applications for our 2025 Vacation Schemes from 10 October 2024. For our 2025 Vacation Schemes, the deadline is 6 January 2025. Find out more and apply.
Please note that you can apply for both the Vacation Scheme and a Training Contract at the same time.
