At Warner Music Group, we’re a global collective of music makers and music lovers, tech innovators and inspired entrepreneurs, game-changing creatives and passionate team members. Here, we know that each talent makes our collective bolder and brighter. We are guided by four core principles that underpin everything we do across all our diverse businesses:

  • Music is Everything: Music is our passion, and we can never get enough. Tastes, trends, and tech will change, but great artists and songwriters will always be our driving force.
  • Global Growth, Local Expertise: Music is a global language. Through communication and collaboration, our success can come from anywhere and translate everywhere.
  • Innovation and Insight: Pushing the boundaries requires the best information and the boldest imagination. We use both to create the future.
  • Empowered by People: Like the artists we serve and the music they make, our differences make us stronger. This is a place where every talent can belong and build a career.

We remain committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. We know it fosters a culture where you can truly belong, contribute, and grow. We encourage applications from people of any age, gender identity, sex or sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion or belief, disability, and any other protected characteristic or identity.

Consider a career at WMG and get the best of both worlds – an innovative global music company that retains the creative spirit of a nimble independent.

A little bit about our team

Atlantic Records UK is home to some of the most iconic UK artists from household names such as Ed Sheeran, Anne-Marie, Charli XCX & Burna Boy to emerging names such as Nathan Dawe, Fred Again.. and Maisie Peters. You’d be joining the Audience team, who work hand in hand with Marketing to construct our artist campaigns, driving amplification online, growing audiences and dialing in on communities forming around our artists. We do this in a number of ways including creating, marketing & optimizing content, developing and implementing fan acquisition strategies, and working with new digital platforms and start-ups.

Your role

As Creator Strategy Intern, you will be part of a new team operating at the heart of the label. Your responsibilities would touch many aspects of an artist’s campaign, from assisting on influencer marketing strategies around releases or big moments, to being the face of our outreach to new talent and third-party pages, to pulling insights & interpreting data on best performing posts and overall campaigns, and essentially be responsible for keeping our artists and releases at the centre of online conversation. You’d need to be comfortable thinking both like a viewer, content creator, innovator, and analyst all at once.

Here you’ll get to

  • Assist the Creator Strategy Manager on their roster of acts across all responsibilities; coming up with creative narratives and campaign phases, participating in idea sessions, doing deep dive research to source the right creators, engaging and briefing influencers, approving drafts and communicating feedback, reading and reporting data to wider teams, adjusting plan based on sound growth and sentiment.
  • Continuously look out for new rising talent in the influencer space and making sure these creator profiles are added to our database alongside contact details, rates, styles of content and any other relevant information needed for appropriate filing.
  • Regularly update the campaign tracker tools with completion status and links to the most up to date posts that have gone live.
  • Assist with putting together highlights for company-wide Friday email updates.
  • Provide bespoke case studies based on competitor analysis.
  • Monitor the UGC, views, and reactions being generated around our releases on TikTok and keep an eye out for overperforming fan content to be boosted.
  • Manage the payment process for any creator/agency spend using PayPal or Sprinter.
  • Occasionally create short form assets as a reference for creators’ content (Capcut).
  • Assist the Creator Strategy Manager in nurturing relationships by shipping gifts to creators and third-party pages (merch, bundles, promo packages).
  • Put in ticket requests for creators to attend concerts.
  • Work alongside the Creator Strategy Manager to provide bi-monthly reporting on the impact influencer marketing is making on the growth of our UK roster.
