Are you a confident and analytical individual with excellent communication skills? We have an opportunity for an undergraduate to join our Internal Audit team as an Internal Audit undergraduate.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Internal Audit team and various stakeholders across the business whilst thriving in a fast-paced environment. You will develop essential skills in risk assessment, data analysis, and reporting, while enhancing your expertise in Microsoft Office tools.

This is what your time at Volkswagen Financial Services might look like

  • Supporting audit managers in completing internal audits
  • Produce reports for the Board of Management and Board of Directors.
  • Assisting the Internal Audit team with various tasks such as analytical reviews, research, and data analysis.
  • Collaborating with Heads of Departments, managers, support staff, and board members to ensure effective communication and cooperation during audits.
  • Conducting reviews of past projects and identifying areas for improvement and best practices.

About you

  • Currently studying in a degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
  • Confidence in communicating with various stakeholders, demonstrating approachability and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent research skills, with the ability to gather and analyse information to support informed decision-making.
  • Self-initiative and independence, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Be informed about industry trends and best practices.

Here’s what our process looks like

  • Apply and upload your CV, covering letter and answer a few application questions.
  • You’ll then be invited to complete a Situational Judgement Test. This is a short multiple-choice question set to understand how you may approach situations.
  • If you pass this stage, you will be invited to complete an online video interview where you will have the opportunity to tell us more about yourself.
  • If successful, your final step in the journey is to attend an assessment centre at our Milton Keynes office where you will take part in a group exercise, complete a short interview and deliver a presentation. You'll also meet some of our managers and our current Undergraduates to find out more about a placement year with us.
