About the role
Are you a hardworking and motivated individual with excellent attention to detail? We have an opportunity for a talented undergraduate to join our Customer Operations team as a Credit Assessment undergraduate. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Credit Assessment team and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will develop essential skills in credit risk assessment, communication, and problem-solving while gaining exposure to the finance industry and enhancing your expertise in administrative tasks.
This is what your time at Volkswagen Financial Services might look like
- Managing phones and administrative work to ensure efficient and organised operations within the Credit Assessment team.
- Handling a set of queues on Connect Online and performing credit risk assessments for customers.
- Conducting credit risk recommendations and communicating them effectively to relevant stakeholders.
- Demonstrating punctuality, professionalism, and a strong work ethic in all aspects of your role.
- Participating in extra projects as needed, showing eagerness to contribute to the team's success.
- Developing familiarity with company accounts and demonstrating a keen interest in the finance industry.

Here’s what our process looks like
- Apply and upload your CV, covering letter and answer a few application questions.
- You’ll then be invited to complete a Situational Judgement Test. This is a short multiple-choice question set to understand how you may approach situations.
- If you pass this stage, you will be invited to complete an online video interview where you will have the opportunity to tell us more about yourself.
- If successful, your final step in the journey is to attend an assessment centre at our Milton Keynes office where you will take part in a group exercise, complete a short interview and deliver a presentation. You'll also meet some of our managers and our current Undergraduates to find out more about a placement year with us.
