Lead and manage small discrete projects from concept to execution with guidance from the Principal Chemical Engineer and Improvement Engineer (and other senior engineers in the broader team) utilizing Process Engineering fundamentals.
The role requires you to challenge, promote, encourage, and facilitate change and the implementation of your own and team ideas.
The role requires technical knowledge, with a high level of enthusiasm and personal drive. Problem solving, planning, and the ability to communicate at all levels are essential.
Passion and enthusiasm for optimising plant performance and increasing sustainability by designing and implementing improvement projects at Vivergo Fuels Ltd are essential.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse plant data to understand and quantify future availability constraints not currently identified.
- Develop solutions to current identified constraints, create the management of change documentation, obtain financial approval, develop implementation plans and support the implementation of the solution.
- Assess the effectiveness of implemented solutions against the original problem statement.
10 month placement start date June/July 2025.

Knowledge - skills and experience required
- On course for a degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering (BEng or MEng).
