Key responsibilities

  • Forge and nurture relationships with both existing and prospective clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Adopt a consultative approach to determine sales opportunities based on customer needs, industry best practices, sound advice, and unparalleled product performance.
  • Manage and oversee 200-300 practices within your designated region.
  • Host daily engagement sessions, from one-on-one meetings to group presentations, identifying potential collaborations with existing and emerging practices.
  • Extend consistent, unparalleled support to all VetPlus clients, from single vet practices to larger establishments with over 30 professionals.
  • Participate and network at national and international veterinary shows and exhibitions.

Training development

As part of our commitment to your success, you'll embark on an intensive 42-week training program led by our seasoned in-house team of sales managers and veterinary surgeons. The program covers:

  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of VetPlus and competitor products.
  • Mastery of the sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Development of commercial and business acumen.
  • Techniques for fostering robust and lasting relationships with our clientele.

Candidate profile

  • An academic background with a minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline.
  • Prior experience or a keen interest in the animal health sector is advantageous.
  • Innate ability to establish and nurture relationships.
  • Goal-oriented, with a proactive approach towards achieving objectives.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exemplary customer service.
  • Capable of independent operations.
  • Openness to travel and stay away from home during critical periods.
  • Possession of a full UK driving license.
