We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Development Coordinator to join a department within Oxford University. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support a fast paced office with donor cultivation and stewardship along with building relationships with many influential external clients.
The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks part time.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the fundraising team, including scheduling, correspondence, and database management (DARS).
- Assist with financial and legal processes for gifts, including managing the Gift Agreement process and liaising with the Gift Registry.
- Support the planning and execution of development events and donor engagement activities.
- Produce bespoke reports and manage donor information through DARS and relevant network drives.
- Provide basic research support for prospective donors and assist with development communications.
- Ensure the timely submission of stewardship reports and thank you letters to donors.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong administrative and communication skills.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and database systems (training on DARS will be provided).
- Experience in event planning and financial processes is desirable.
- Attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience of using the DARS system would be advantageous
